Reality TV Helping or hurting ?

I have been hearing about the reality TV show called “Emotional Athyachar”. Read couple of News articles also. While browsing through the channel on a jobless Sunday, I came across this show airing on UTV Bindass. I thought what the heck!! Let’s watching it!! I never watch Reality shows, but I thought I will make an exception.

This particular episode was about “Hunter being hunted”. So out so called boyfriend wants to get a loyalty test done on his girlfriend. So the TV crew plants a hunky TV start to woo the girl. The girl came out clean. It seems that she has been the only girl who has come out clean … But the crew realized that the boyfriend is flirting with a crew member. The stress on that, and finally the result was the boyfriend cheated. Then there was huge drama, fist fight and swearing.
But picture abhi baakee hai mere dost..
Next episode, they show this same couple. They are back together. She accepted him back in her life. And she brought a friend who wanted to do loyalty test her boyfriend, who again didn’t come out clean.
People say this show is opening eyes of those in relationship. But I feel they are actually killing the trust that people have on each other. Yes it’s true that 90% of the people who came in show were cheaters. But that is less the 1 % of total population.

My Question
1. We already have terrorism and politics to kill our trust. Do we need more reasons to hate each other?
2. Seeing all this, will you be able to trust the next person who comes close to you???
